Korean War vet recognizes war anniversary

July 27 marked the 67th anniversary of the cease fire of the Korean War. Often called the “Forgotten War,” however the hardships and bloody conflicts experienced by the brave individuals involved will never be forgotten. Pictured above, Claudie Little, left,  former VFW, DAV, and Marine Corps League Commanders celebrates this cease fire with the signing of a proclamation memorializing the date. At the time of this photograph Little had just been awarded the United Nations Peace Medal for recognition of his service as a Marine in the Korean War.
