Getting ready for flu season

Total Pharmacy Care and NOVA Pharmacy came together on Saturday morning to help administer vaccines, including flu, shingles, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, meningitis and pneumonia, to more than a dozen people from Pikeville and surrounding areas. The drive-through-style clinic took place in the parking lot of Pikeville’s First Baptist Church. “Every shot we give is an investment to help prevent heavy costs down the road,” said Joel Thornbury, pharmacist with NOVA Pharmacy.
