The Appalachian Center for the Arts will open its newest production, “Sally McCoy,” on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The play, written by Lane Stanley, follows Sally McCoy as she tries to save her family in the midst of the violent, legendary Hatfield and McCoy feud. The show runs Sept. 13-Oct. 5 at the theater, located at 218 Second Street in Pikeville. Tickets range from $15 to $25 and can be purchased on Ticketmaster or at the Community Trust Bank Box Office at the Appalachian Wireless Arena. For more information, call, (606) 262-4004.
