Pikeville’s MineShaft Harley-Davidson continued its 10th annual tradition of the Nation of Patriots National Flag Tour on Friday. Robert Williams, of Pikeville’s MineShaft Harley-Davidson, received an American flag from Billy Baxter, of the Johnson City Tri-Cities Harley-Davidson Chapter, who brought the flag from Johnson City, Tennessee. On Saturday, Williams and other riders from the MineShaft Harley-Davidson planned to pass the flag along to a Harley-Davidson chapter in Princeton, West Virginia. Throughout 115 days, the flag is passed along to 48 states, and the tradition is meant to pay respect to veterans and their families, as well as the American flag.
