PRIDE board honors fiscal  court for continued support

The Pike County PRIDE board presented members of the Pike County Fiscal Court with certificates of appreciation at the court’s meeting Tuesday evening. Jimmy Dale Sanders, the board’s president, told the court that he is thankful for the court’s recent financial contribution to the PRIDE organization. Sanders said the organization was “almost broke,” and needed the funds to continue. At its last meeting, the court voted to move $10,000 from the Fishtrap Lake cleanup fund to the PRIDE organization.
