Noel to join UK legends at Hillbilly Days

Nerlens Noel and several other University of Kentucky basketball players will be attending the 37th Annual Hillbilly Days festival this week for the UK Legends Tour.

According to former University of Kentucky basketball player Jeff Sheppard, Nerlens Noel announced on Monday that he will also be in attendance for UK Legends Tour during Hillbilly Days.

The UK basketball players who will be attending Hillbilly Days include Nelens Noel, Archie Goodwin, Julius Mays, Twany Beckham, Doron Lamb, Ravi Moss, Cameron Mills, Jeff Shppard, Antoine Walker, Rex Chapman, Scott Padgett, Allen Edwards and Kenny Walker, Sheppard said.

According to Sheppard, a limited Hillbilly Days Special package will be available for fans to order for $100. He said the package includes a full-sized basketball autographed by all the players and individual posters autographed by all the players. He said the fans can also pre-order the packages and pick them up at the Pike County Tourism Office after Hillbilly Days.

According to Sheppard, the players will be at the Pike County tourism booth  in front of the Coal Building during Hillbilly Days at scheduled times including:

Thursday

Nerlens Noel and Antoine Walker from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Allen Edwards and Scott Padgett from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Rex Chapman from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday

Doron Lamb and Rex Chapman from 12 p.m.  to 3 p.m.

Ravi Moss from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Kenny Walker from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Cameron Mills and Jeff Sheppard from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Nerlens Noel, Archie Goodwin, Julius Mays, and Twany Beckham from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday

Nerlens Noel, Archie Goodwin, Julius Mays, Twany Beckham from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cameron Mills and Jeff Sheppard  from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.  

Sheppard said fans can pre-order their tickets at the Pike County Tourism Office at the Hampton Inn or call at, (606) 432-5063.
